I began my academic journey at the International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad, where I pursued a Bachelor of Technology (Honours) in Electronics and Communication Engineering. I started my research journey after joining the IC∼WiBES research group under the CVEST center, advised by Dr. Abhishek Srivastava. There, I explored the intersection of radar systems and signal processing, working on non-contact vital sign monitoring systems. Over time, these efforts led to multiple publications and a provisional patent - including first-author papers in the IEEE Sensors Journal and IEEE BioCAS - and laid a strong foundation for my interest in research.
To complement my research, I undertook a series of hands-on internships that allowed me to apply my skills in real-world scenarios. At Inclusive Growth Chain, I developed ML models using satellite imagery for estimating soil carbon and water quality with high accuracy. At SegriTech, I engineered an end-to-end edge AI system for fruit sorting, spanning UI design, segmentation models, and embedded hardware. My summer internship at Oracle further deepened my interest in computer vision, where I built a proof-of-concept for video deduplication in large-scale repositories.
Currently, I am working as a Member of Technical Staff at Oracle, where I'm part of the Identity and Access Management team. This phase of my journey has been an opportunity to deepen my skills in Java, fullstack development, and SQL, while also gaining first-hand experience navigating the web and expectations of the corporate world. Transitioning from research and academic problem-solving to production-grade systems has been both challenging and rewarding, providing a learning curve that continues to broaden my perspective as a software developer.
